Transgender movement re-packaging their “victim” rhetoric to fight against new laws to protect children

“Transgender Day of Visibility” celebrated at Massachusetts State House with speeches by powerful politicians and activists condemning “attacks”

Claims their “right” to push agenda into schools and society overrules parents and social dissent

A big question: Are conservatives bold enough to push back?

The transgender movement and their allies are angry that their agenda across the country is losing ground. Their full-court strategy – reiterated on this past Monday’s “Transgender Day of Visibility” – is to claim as loudly as possible that they are being attacked.

Americans have had enough of the transgender agenda, particularly targeting children. We’re all familiar with the trans outrages, including:

Recently, several states have passed laws (or have filed this bills term) to ban many of these outrages. And President Trump’s executive orders forbid “gender ideology,” boys in girls’ sports, and related propaganda in the schools receiving federal aid.

In addition, the Trump administration is derailing the transgender agenda across the federal government: in the military, in government documents (such as passports), in prisons, and in the massive NGO funding. His executive orders specifically state that there are only “two genders.”

To oppose any such pushback, the LGBT movement has declared March 31 of every year to be “International Transgender Day of Visibility.”

This year there was a special “Transgender Visibility” press event at the Massachusetts State House – where some of the earliest radical transgender legislation was passed (though MassResistance stalled much of it for years). And naturally, MassResistance was there to cover it.

ALT TEXT It was more like a press conference than a "rally." It appears that they purposely scheduled the event for a relatively small area of the State House so it would look crowded!

As “transgenderism” becomes less popular as a legitimate cause across the country, the far-left cabal of Massachusetts politicians is more on board than ever. Boston recently declared itself a “sanctuary city for transgender individuals.” Even the Republican lawmakers pretty much march lockstep with the LGBT agenda.

Doubling down on their message of victimization

The big problem, of course, is that trans activists can’t escape their own groupthink and credibly defend any of the horrible things (listed above) that are enraging people across the country.

So this year, the only response they could concoct was to double down on their routine narrative - and claim they are still the “victims.”

Thus, at the March 31 Massachusetts State House event they ranted that the current political climate is “increasingly dangerous for transgender and nonbinary people across the country” and seeks to "criminalize any trans existence." They declared that they are being personally attacked – and being “erased” from society. This also fits their call to be “out and proud” everywhere and be accepted as normal.

The main speakers were the Senate President Karen Spilka, Lt. Governor Kim Driscoll, and anti-parent “gay” State Senator Julian Cyr, a vocal member of the Legislature’s obnoxious “LGBTQ+ caucus” – along with other prominent “transgender” supporters.

Spilka told the group that whatever happens across the country, "You will always have a home in Massachusetts. We see you, we celebrate you, we stand with you, and we will always fight for you."

Spilka reiterated her stand to quash all pro-family legislation before it can be voted on. She said that there are over 400 “anti-LGBTQ bills” filed in legislatures around the country this year, including a few filed in Massachusetts. "But let me be clear, not a single bill that attacks the hard-won rights of this community will make it through the doors of the Massachusetts Senate."

Driscoll blustered that "these are the worst threats we've ever seen."

Although this event was widely publicized on LGBT websites, only a handful of obvious transgender individuals showed up. The small crowd seemed to be mostly politicians, regular leftist activists, and members of the press. (One might observe that transgenders are so emotionally dysfunctional that they’re less likely to get involved in their own political causes.)

Final thoughts

Since the early 1990s, unlike most of the rest of the country, Massachusetts has been a willing target of the transgender movement. Trans activists have helped lead government-sponsored youth activities, Boston hospitals have pioneered “gender transition” treatments, and schools have been given anti-parent transgender policies. In 2022, Massachusetts passed a law banning lawsuits against clinics  giving “gender affirming” procedures to children.

ALT TEXT As far back as 2008, the transgender movement has openly (and with taxpayer money) infiltrated schools and youth organizations in Massachusetts. This is a scene from the state-sponsored annual Youth Pride event.

A big reason why this movement can be so aggressive is that most conservatives are too cowardly to take them on directly. People will complain about “men in women’s sports” and occasionally offer some medical facts to contradict the trans agenda. But sadly, most parents of schoolchildren are afraid to go further. And that only prolongs the tragedy. Many times, MassResistance has been all alone in boldly speaking the truth and taking action publicly.

What is missing in this movement is a forceful denial of any reality behind “gender identities.” There are only male and female humans. Deal with it.
