How the Massachusetts Legislature uses unconstitutional “informal sessions” to pass outrageous laws affecting every citizen

Examples: mandates to raise health insurance costs, imposing radical LGBT agenda, spending millions on pet projects, and more.

As few as 1 or 2 Senators or Representatives meet and “pass” bills before an empty chamber, pretending there’s a legal quorum. Read more about informal sessions.

Here’s how citizens have started taking action

Going back nearly 2 decades: Since 2008 MassResistance has documented the “informal sessions” problem in Massachusetts

Besides informal sessions: Here's what else Massachusetts state government has been doing to its citizens

Massachusetts state government seems to be at war with normality and families.

More well-known outrages that the Legislature enacted recently in full "legal" sessions:

  • Over a billion dollars to house and feed illegal immigrants.
  • Taxpayer-funded free tuition to state community colleges (including for illegal immigrants).
  • Elimination of nearly all restrictions on abortion and allowing girls of any age to get abortion without parents’ consent.
  • Taxpayer-funded free tuition to state community colleges (including for illegal immigrants).
  • An extreme anti-gun law that is clearly unconstitutional.
  • Taxpayer-funded “sex-change” operations.

(What do these have in common? None of them were passed because average people in Massachusetts were asking for them. All of it was done to please well-funded political special interests. These special interests are skilled and aggressive at lobbying and have agendas that are completely disconnected from the desires of regular citizens. But they have far more influence over our legislators than the citizens who elect them.)
