of Speaker Salvatore DiMasi getting his award for his work "in support of marraige equality" and for faithfully supporting "GLBT rights" in Massachusetts, on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006, at the Marriott Custom House.

It sure makes you long for Tom Finneran, the "conservative" former speaker.

We all knew that Rep. Sal DiMasi, Speaker of the Massachusetts House, had sold out his North End Catholic working class roots to the radical homosexuals a long time ago. We just didn't know it was quite this bad. You'll recall back in 2004 when DiMasi, then a member of Finneran's leadership team, strong-armed the Rules Committee to stop the Bill of Address against Margaret Marshall and the others, despite what appeared to be a "yes" vote by the committee. The gays were singing his praises back then, and he loved it. Well, he's still loving it.

Another wacky "queer" group (which masquerades as a mainstream youth action group) has surfaced, this one called My Age, which boasts US. Rep Barney Frank and Bank of America Chairman Chad Gifford as board members.  It's another "youth" oriented lobby-the-legislature twist-the-truth activist group that has slithered its way into the bowels of the State House.

Last Sunday, DiMasi came and received their "Leadership Award" at a banquet at the fancy Marriott Custom House, for his "work toward marriage equality" and "faithful support of GLBT rights."  On the invitation were the out-of-touch politicians, Planned Parenthood people, and others.

The following pictures were posted on the Web by "My Age" Founding Director Eric Georgi.

Here's Speaker Salvatore DiMasi (center) with Editorial Director Nia Clark and Eric Georgi.

Here's the invitation, likely underwritten by rich supporters. Not the ultra-pro-gay luminaries listed:

As Georgi described it in his web posting, "The award ceremony, held at the Marriott Custom House, garnered some of Boston's most vocal GLBT rights supporters and business leaders including State Senator Jarrett Barrios, Lieutenant Governor candidate Dr. Sam Kelley, Freedom to Marry Coalition's Valerie Fein-Zachary, Randy Price of Channel 7 News, former Boston GLBT liaison Jerome Smith, Developer Robert Beal, philanthropist Ronald Ansin, Artists for Humanity's Greg Brown, transgender activist Grace Sterling Stowell, and State Representatives Marty Walz and Alice Wolf all made appearances."

And here's ole Eric Georgi protesting the Catholic Church on the Boston Common last Feb. 8:

Yup, DiMasi the guy that runs our Legislature! Call him at 617-722-2500.  Or email him at Rep.SalvatoreDiMasi@hou.state.ma.us (tho don't expect a reply). Let him know that he doesn't represent YOU, and that you will do your best to get him booted!
