Gay lobby pushing for unprecedented $2.9 million in 2009 budget for homosexual programs in MA schools!
Citizens can still stop it.
BOSTON, MA (MARCH 24, 2008)
The homosexual lobby has begun pressuring the Legislature for a record $2.9 million - specifically for homosexual programs targeting children - in the upcoming 2009 budget. This represents nearly twice as much as they've ever had before ($1.5 million under pro-gay Gov. Paul Cellucci) and nearly five times the amount in the current year's budget ($600.000).
In a recent email to their supporters, the Mass. Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus (MGLPC) made it clear that this is now a top priority for them. They bragged that they are "working every day . . . inside the legislature to gain [this] additional funding." They are also organizing other groups, such as the Massachusetts Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth (CGLBTY) to stage a full-scale emotional effort on the Ways and Means Committee to get this money put in.

Targeting specific budget items
Last month, the Governor released his budget recommendations. At this point there is "officially" $550,000 of direct earmarks for homosexual activism in the public schools, broken down this way.
7010-0005 Dept of Education . . . . . $200,000
"Programming to ensure compliance by schools with the Board of Education's recommendations for the support and safety of gay and lesbian students"
4590-0250 Dept of Public Health . . . . . $350,000
"Commission on gay and lesbian youth"
(This does not include non-earmarked money, which could be up to a million dollars or more, but takes a little more time to uncover.)
The MGLPC email outlined the parts of the budget that they're targeting. They apparently want to add more homosexual "earmarks" to those budget items so the totals get beefed up. (This is an old political strategy of the gay lobby - to divide the money between the Dept. of Education and Dept. of Public Health. This time they're also adding a third item.)

According to the MGLPC email, all of this money would end up directly or indirectly in the hands of the Massachusetts Commission on Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Youth - through various methods from the Department of Education and Department of Public Health. This represents the most money by far ever spent on homosexual activism for children by any government anywhere, to our knowledge.
Deadline coming up.
The deadline for the Ways and Means Committee to come up with their "official" version of the Governor's proposed budget is Wednesday, April 16.
After that, legislators have two days to file amendments to get further budget money in. The homosexual lobby is already working on this, as their "Plan B".
This MUST be stopped.
This is extremely important. With that money, they will be able to do unbelievable damage to children.
We need to start calling the House Ways and Means Committee right away.

We need to tell the House Ways and Means Committee - in no uncertain terms - that we want NO money for pushing homosexuality in our schools, to our children.
We will be keeping track of this closely, and updating you on other ways to lobby and other things that must be done to stop this.
This money is the homosexual movement's lifeline to your children - some of the most poisonous and destructive programs we've seen - and they will fight very hard for it. We must let our Legislature know that we will NOT stand for it at all.
